Plot Outline: Batman, Gordon and Harvey Dent are forced to deal with the chaos unleashed by an anarchist mastermind known only as the Joker, as it drives each of them to their limits.
Plot: Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. Plot Outline: A frustrated office worker learns that he is the son of a professional assassin, and that he shares his fathers superhuman killing abilities.

Plot Outline: After Skynet has destroyed much of humanity in a nuclear holocaust, a group of survivors led by John Connor (Bale) struggles to keep the machines from finishing the job.

Plot Outline: The story of how Bruce Wayne became what he was destined to be: Batman.
Plot: Eight-year-old Bruce Wayne falls into a cave where he encounters a swarm of bats. Bruce develops a fear of bats, and later urges his parents to leave an opera featuring bat-like creatures. Plot Outline: When an ex-superhero is murdered, a vigilante named Rorshach begins an investigation into the murder, which begins to lead to a much more terrifying conclusion.

Plot Outline: On a quest to find out what happened to his missing brother, a scientist, his nephew and their mountain guide discover a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth.
Plot: A science professor whose radical theories have completely tarnished his reputation. While backpacking across Iceland with his nephew Sean, the two explorers find a cave that leads them deep down into the bowels of the planet. And so they go on a quest to find out what has happened to the scientists missing brother, a scientist, his nephew and their mountain guide discovers a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth. There they discover a bizarre landscape filled with terrifying creatures.

Factual errors: Hannah Бsgeirsson is a mans name. In Iceland, a persons last name is derived from their fathers first name. Her father, Sigurbjцrn Бsgeirsson, is the son of Бsgeir. Her last name would be Sigurbjцrnsdottir, daughter of Sigurbjцrn. Plus, no Icelandic word or name ends with an H. Therefore, her name should be Hanna Sigurbjцrnsdottir.

• Indie film maker Paul Chart (American Perfekt) was originally signed to write and direct the picture and penned the original script. Chart left the project, however, after a decision was made to shoot the film in 3-D, uncomfortable with the possibility it would become more theme park ride than the epic action-adventure film he envisioned.
