Mesmerized with trinkets of earths history and show tunes, WALL-E is alone on Earth except for a sprightly pet cockroach. One day, Eve, a sleek (and dangerous) reconnaissance robot, is sent to earth to find proof that life is once again sustainable. WALL-E falls in love with Eve. WALL-E rescues Eve from a dust storm and shows her a living plant he found amongst the rubble. Consistent with her “directive” Eve takes the plant and automatically enters a deactivated state except for a blinking green beacon. WALL-E, doesnt understand what has happened to his new friend, but true to his love, he protects her from wind, rain, and lightening, even as she is unresponsive. One day a massive ship comes to reclaim Eve, but WALL-E, out of love or loneliness hitches a ride on the outside of the ship to rescue Eve. The ship arrives back at a large space cruise ship, which is carrying all of the humans who evacuated earth 700 years earlier. The people of earth ride around this space resort on hovering chairs which give them a constant feed of TV and video chatting. They drink all of their meals through a straw out of laziness and/or bone loss, and are all so fat that they can barely move. When the auto-pilot computer, acting on hastily given instructions sent many centuries before, tries to prevent the people of earth from returning, by stealing the plant, WALL-E, Eve, the portly captain, and a band of broken robots stage a mutiny.

Crazy Credits: We know about 1 Crazy Credits.
The teaser trailer contains part of Michael Kamens score for Brazil (1985). Michael Kamen was going to score another Pixar film, The Incredibles (2004), but died before he could.

Jim Reardon left his position as supervising director of "The Simpsons" (1989) television series to do animation on this film. On the DVD audio commentary for his episode _”Simpsons, The” (1989) {Thirty Minutes Over Tokyo (#10.23)}_, Reardon finally confirmed the title of the film he was working on – prior to that he would only say that it was due in 2008.

The main characters name is actually an acronym, standing for “Waste Allocation Load Lifter-Earth-class.” EVE stands for “Extraterrestial Vegetation Evaluator” and M-O stands for “Microbe Obliterator.”

Seth Rogen told the April 25 issue of Rolling Stone that he originally wanted a budget of $50 million but was only able to secure $25 million due to the drug-heavy subject matter.

Seth Rogen originally wrote the part of Saul Silver for himself to play, it wasnt until the table read that he realized James Franco would be funnier in the role of Saul.

During an July 2008 interview with the Orange County Register about Pineapple Express (2008), the interviewer told Seth Rogen and James Franco that he prepared for the interview by watching the classic stoner comedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) the night before. When he asked Rogen and Franco if they prepared likewise before making Pineapple Express, Franco said he prepared by making out with Spicoli (a reference to his having shot Milk (2008), in which he and Sean Penn play lovers).

Set on a long English summer in the early 80s, SON OF RAMBOW is a comedy about friendship, faith and the tough business of growing up. We see the story through the eyes of Will, the eldest son of a fatherless Plymouth Brethren family. The Brethren regard themselves as Gods chosen ones and their strict moral code means that Will has never been allowed to mix with the other worldlies, listen to music or watch TV, until he finds himself caught up in the extraordinary world of Lee Carter, the school terror and maker of bizarre home movies. Carter exposes Will to a pirate copy of Rambo: First Blood and from that moment Wills mind is blown wide open and hes easily convinced to be the stuntman in Lee Carters diabolical home movie. Wills imaginative little brain is not only given chance to flourish in the world of film making, but is also very handy when it comes to dreaming up elaborate schemes to keep his partnership with Lee Carter a secret from the Brethren community. Will and Carters complete disregard for consequences and innocent ambition means that the process of making their film is a glorious rollercoaster that eventually leads to true friendship. They start to make a name for themselves at school as movie makers but when popularity descends on them in the form of the Pied Piper-esque French exchange student, Didier Revol, their unique friendship and their precious film are pushed, quite literally, to breaking point.

Crazy Credits: We know about 2 Crazy Credits. One of them reads:
Watch right till the end of the credits to hear a few additional lines of dialogue between Will and Carter.

Goofs: We know about 7 goofs. Here comes one of them:
Factual errors: When Will watches the pirated version of First Blood (1982) that Lee illegally filmed in the cinema, we see the cinema-curtains open on the films first-credit. All films screened in British cinemas at that time would legally have to start with the British Board of Film Classifications classification certificate directly before the start of the film.

Trivia: There are 18 entries in the trivia list – like these:

Peter Jackson approached Guillermo del Toro to direct Halo (2009), and even though del Toro considered it, he turned the offer down so he could direct this sequel. Also, Del Toro turned down I Am Legend (2007), One Missed Call (2008), and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) for the same reason.

Revolution Studios was originally set to produce this sequel but had to pull out once Sony decided they no longer wanted to fund Revolution Studios. Sony put the rights up for sale since they felt Hellboy wasnt a profitable franchise for them. Universal felt differently and bought the rights to make the sequel immediately.

There are several shots in the movie showing a worn movie marquee advertising a film called “See You Next n sday.” The inclusion of the phrase “See you next Wednesday” is a trademark of director John Landis (he has incorporated it into nearly all of the movies and many of the music videos he has directed). Landis, in turn, took the line from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).
