Plot Outline: In the distant future, a small waste collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind.
Plot: In a distant, but not so unrealistic future, where mankind has abandoned earth because it has become covered with trash from products sold by the powerful multi-national Buy N Large corporation, WALL-E, a garbage collecting robot has been left to clean up the mess. Mesmerized with trinkets of earths history and show tunes, WALL-E is alone on Earth except for a sprightly pet cockroach. One day, Eve, a sleek (and dangerous) reconnaissance robot, is sent to earth to find proof that life is once again sustainable. WALL-E falls in love with Eve. WALL-E rescues Eve from a dust storm and shows her a living plant he found amongst the rubble. Consistent with her “directive” Eve takes the plant and automatically enters a deactivated state except for a blinking green beacon. WALL-E, doesnt understand what has happened to his new friend, but true to his love, he protects her from wind, rain, and lightening, even as she is unresponsive. One day a massive ship comes to reclaim Eve, but WALL-E, out of love or loneliness hitches a ride on the outside of the ship to rescue Eve. The ship arrives back at a large space cruise ship, which is carrying all of the humans who evacuated earth 700 years earlier. The people of earth ride around this space resort on hovering chairs which give them a constant feed of TV and video chatting. They drink all of their meals through a straw out of laziness and/or bone loss, and are all so fat that they can barely move. When the auto-pilot computer, acting on hastily given instructions sent many centuries before, tries to prevent the people of earth from returning, by stealing the plant, WALL-E, Eve, the portly captain, and a band of broken robots stage a mutiny.

Crazy Credits: We know about 5 Crazy Credits. One of them reads:

Goofs: We know about 3 goofs. Here comes one of them:
Continuity: WALL•E first presents the plant to EVE while facing her directly. Later, when EVE replays the same scene in the Captains quarters, WALL•E is shown holding the plant from a 3/4 profile.

Trivia: There are 22 entries in the trivia list – like these:

    • The teaser trailer contains part of Michael Kamens score for Brazil (1985). Michael Kamen was going to score another Pixar film, The Incredibles (2004), but died before he could.
    • Jim Reardon left his position as supervising director of "The Simpsons" (1989) television series to do animation on this film. On the DVD audio commentary for his episode _”Simpsons, The” (1989) {Thirty Minutes Over Tokyo (#10.23)}_, Reardon finally confirmed the title of the film he was working on – prior to that he would only say that it was due in 2008.
    • The main characters name is actually an acronym, standing for “Waste Allocation Load Lifter-Earth-class.” EVE stands for “Extraterrestial Vegetation Evaluator” and M-O stands for “Microbe Obliterator.”

But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop and the citys most dangerous drug lord, he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him–and it is. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that theyre not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia: incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both. All aboard the Pineapple Express.

    • Seth Rogen told the April 25 issue of Rolling Stone that he originally wanted a budget of $50 million but was only able to secure $25 million due to the drug-heavy subject matter.
    • Seth Rogen originally wrote the part of Saul Silver for himself to play, it wasnt until the table read that he realized James Franco would be funnier in the role of Saul.
    • During an July 2008 interview with the Orange County Register about Pineapple Express (2008), the interviewer told Seth Rogen and James Franco that he prepared for the interview by watching the classic stoner comedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) the night before. When he asked Rogen and Franco if they prepared likewise before making Pineapple Express, Franco said he prepared by making out with Spicoli (a reference to his having shot Milk (2008), in which he and Sean Penn play lovers).

Factual errors: Hannah Бsgeirsson is a mans name. In Iceland, a persons last name is derived from their fathers first name. Her father, Sigurbjцrn Бsgeirsson, is the son of Бsgeir. Her last name would be Sigurbjцrnsdottir, daughter of Sigurbjцrn. Plus, no Icelandic word or name ends with an H. Therefore, her name should be Hanna Sigurbjцrnsdottir.

Trivia: There are 2 entries in the trivia list – like these:

    • Indie film maker Paul Chart (American Perfekt) was originally signed to write and direct the picture and penned the original script. Chart left the project, however, after a decision was made to shoot the film in 3-D, uncomfortable with the possibility it would become more theme park ride than the epic action-adventure film he envisioned. The Jules Verne novel was apparently one of his favorite pieces of literature. Chart was ultimately replaced with effects specialist Eric Brevig and the script was heavily retooled to emphasize the new 3-D format.
    • When Trevor opens the box of stuff belonging to his lost brother, he pulls out an odd item and says he doesnt know what it is and sets it aside. The item is a stereoscope, a device invented in Victorian England for showing a still image so that it appears to be in 3D.

Plot Outline: Set on a long English summer in the early 80s, Son Of Rambow is a comedy about friendship, faith and the weird business of growing up.
Plot: SON OF RAMBOW is the name of the home movie made by two little boys with a big video camera and even bigger ambitions. Set on a long English summer in the early 80s, SON OF RAMBOW is a comedy about friendship, faith and the tough business of growing up. We see the story through the eyes of Will, the eldest son of a fatherless Plymouth Brethren family. The Brethren regard themselves as Gods chosen ones and their strict moral code means that Will has never been allowed to mix with the other worldlies, listen to music or watch TV, until he finds himself caught up in the extraordinary world of Lee Carter, the school terror and maker of bizarre home movies. Carter exposes Will to a pirate copy of Rambo: First Blood and from that moment Wills mind is blown wide open and hes easily convinced to be the stuntman in Lee Carters diabolical home movie. Wills imaginative little brain is not only given chance to flourish in the world of film making, but is also very handy when it comes to dreaming up elaborate schemes to keep his partnership with Lee Carter a secret from the Brethren community. Will and Carters complete disregard for consequences and innocent ambition means that the process of making their film is a glorious rollercoaster that eventually leads to true friendship. They start to make a name for themselves at school as movie makers but when popularity descends on them in the form of the Pied Piper-esque French exchange student, Didier Revol, their unique friendship and their precious film are pushed, quite literally, to breaking point.

    • The role of Tommy Williams was intended for Brad Pitt.
    • The exteriors were filmed at the defunct Mansfield State Reformatory in Ohio. The prison was in such poor condition that renovations had to be made prior to filming. However, most the interiors were shot on a sound stage, because they determined it would be cheaper to build duplicates of the interiors rather than renovating the interiors of Mansfield.
    • The American Humane Association monitored the filming of scenes involving Brooks crow. During the scene where he fed it a maggot, the AHA objected on the grounds that it was cruel to the maggot, and required that they use a maggot that had died from natural causes. One was found, and the scene was filmed.
